Spindletop Community Impact Partners' 6th Annual Food Drive put about 1,500 pounds of nutritious food on CCSC's pantry shelves at a time of year when food insecurity for children is at its highest.

"We are proud to partner with CCSC to help low-income families feed children during the summer months when children are not receiving meals through school programs," Executive Director Lia Vallone said.

What a great NEW shoe drive!

Big thanks to Debby Cooper, CityRise Local Missions, the Happy Days Community Group at CityRise Church - West University Baptist, and all the volunteers and donors for this trove of brand-new children's tennis shoes. Visitors to our Clothing Pantry at 3434 Branard St. are LOVING them!

Back To School Assembly Day!

Our fantastic volunteer crews bagged thousands of school supplies into grade-level packages Saturday, getting us ready to help about 4,000 students start the school year right at our upcoming Back To School Community Event.

CCSC is pleased to again partner with Mustang Cat to support basic human needs in Houston. Since it was founded in 1952 as the Caterpillar Dealer for Southeast Texas, Mustang Cat has demonstrated its commitment to giving back to the local communities it serves.
Mustang Cat Charitable Foundation has a long history of supporting CCSC and its recent grant to our Emergency Services program will help those in need with food, rent, and utility bill assistance. Thank you, Mustang Cat!

Donate New Shoes for Kids this Saturday, 7/18!

Drop off NEW/UNUSED sneakers and tennis shoes (children's sizes 10-13.5, up to youth 6, and up to adult 6) from 9 to 11 a.m. at CityRise Church - West University Baptist, 6218 Auden St., on the Amherst St. (south) side of the building.

Donations benefit CCSC's Clothing Pantry. Thank you to CityRise Local Missions and the Happy Days Community Group at CityRise West U Baptist!
