Thank You, Houston Hadassah!

A heartfelt thank you to Houston Hadassah for creating Shabbat Boxes for the Velva G. & H. Fred Levine Chaplaincy Program.

Each week, volunteers help decorate and assemble 40–50 Shabbat Boxes, which are distributed to patients in nine area hospitals across the Houston area.

In 2025, we distributed more than 1,700 Shabbat Boxes, bringing comfort and connection to individuals during some of life's most challenging moments.

Interested in helping? We are always looking for additional volunteer artists to decorate Shabbat Boxes and support this program.
