Survivors in the LGBTQIA+ community with other marginalized identities can face barriers of isolation when seeking support.

Identities like these can intersect within one another, making it difficult to find groups that survivors can relate to.

At Bay Area Turning Point, we can connect you to the peer support groups or counseling that best fits your needs.

If you're in need of support, please call our 24 Hour Crisis Hotline at 281-286-2525.

Join us on July 18 from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at One Movement Bible Church for a day dedicated to mental health, wellness, and the relationships that shape our lives.

Bay Area Turning Point is honored to participate as a guest presenter at Igniting Hope: Teen and Young Adult Refresh, hosted by Internal Hope Fellowship Church.

Our team will lead two engaging workshops for teens and young adults, facilitated by three of our subject matter experts: Chavis Worthy, Children's Counselor; Melissa Prentice, Training Manager; Sybil Winters-Little, Sr. Operations Director.

Teens will learn about healthy relationships and identify early warning signs of abuse, while young adults will explore the dynamics of power and control, the cycle of abuse, and the warning signs that often go unnoticed in unhealthy relationships.

Our sessions offer valuable insight and practical strategies for building healthier connections.

Register today and join us for a day of learning, growth, and hope by calling or texting 832-932-3452.
