A menu seasoned by the labor and love of five generations

Valdemar’s father bought the restaurant in the 1960’s from the original owner, who designed it as a diner with strictly diner fare on the menu. Valdemar took over the business in 1990 and now runs the restaurant with the help of his daughter. The emphasis is now on Tex-Mex comfort cuisine, mixed with a bit of traditional American diner food. https://sbmd.org/a-menu-seasoned-by-the-labor-and-love-of-five-generations/

Our local restaurants, bars, and hospitality industry need our support. Our front-of-house friends missed shifts in the freeze, on top of an already challenging pandemic-driven environment and schedule. This weekend, let's make the conscious decision to spend our dollars locally. If at all possible, pick up directly from the establishment to avoid paying third party delivery fees, which dramatically reduce profitability, and don’t forget to tip!

Head to our story to screenshot the story graphic to shoutout the establishments you'll be supporting this weekend! 💜🍴
