🌞 The Kiwanis Nehemiah Summer Program is in full swing, and what a week it's been! Our campers kicked off summer with a joyful start, celebrating their first week at First Presbyterian’s Vacation Bible School, splashing around at a pool, getting creative with art lessons, learning some cool karate moves, and catching some fun at the movies! 🎨🧊🎬💦🎉
A huge thank you to all of the amazing volunteers who poured love and energy into this first week, to the Kiwanis Club for helping fund these unforgettable summer memories, and to FPC for filling our kids’ hearts with praise, worship, and joy. 💛🙏

🎓✨Graduation Celebrations!✨🎓

Hip hip hooray, to our sweet PreK students who are officially Kindergarteners and our 8th grade students moving on to high school! 🎉 We are SO proud of each and every one of them for their big hearts, curious minds, and all the hard work they’ve done this year. 💛

It’s been a joy and an honor to walk alongside them all, helping to plant seeds of faith, learning, and love. We’re incredibly grateful to their parents, and to God, for the chance to nurture and guide such precious lives. 🙏🌱

While we know we’ll see many of their smiling faces in our after-school and college prep programs next year, our hearts are still a little tender saying goodbye. 🥹

Today, they each received individual gift cards from the Texas Rising Star program in recognition of having the top-scoring classroom in the school and ranking among the top-scoring classrooms across the entire Gulf Coast region for “Teacher-Child Interaction.”

This outstanding achievement reflects the care, excellence, and dedication they bring to their classroom every single day. We are incredibly proud of the positive impact they make in the lives of our students and families.

Our kids had the BEST time at the annual Robin Reamer Book Fair last week! 📚✨ So many smiles, so many great stories, and so much excitement about reading!

Through their hard work, our students earn “Bible Bucks” to shop for books of their own, making it even more special and rewarding. Building a love for reading at a young age helps set the foundation for confidence, creativity, and lifelong learning.

A big thank you to the Houston Junior Forum for helping our PreK students pick out the perfect books to take home 💙
