Serving people well starts with investing in the people who serve — and yesterday proved that in the best way!

We spent the morning with our incredible staff learning from Matt Barnes, sharpening communication, and building healthier systems to support our growing ministry. We wrapped the day in laughter with team-building games, shared meaningful words of appreciation, and committed to how each of us wants to show up this year.

Each staff member shared one word describing how they want to show up for the team this year:

Whether you’re a seasoned gardener or just looking for a great way to connect with others, we’d love to see you there.

Bring your friends, family, and anyone who enjoys giving back while enjoying the outdoors. Don’t forget your hat and a water bottle—we’ll take care of the rest!

A blessing to meet with Bryan Kelley, Outreach & Engagement Director at Crosswalk Center, to share vision and explore how Main Street Ministries and Crosswalk can partner to better serve our community.

Together, we’re seeking opportunities to connect Crosswalk participants with volunteer roles through our Life Empowerment programs and Operation ID.
We believe that serving others not only meets practical needs but also restores dignity, builds purpose, and reminds each person of their God-given value.

We’re excited to see how God will use this partnership to create new pathways of hope, healing, and transformation.

Building community partnerships that create pathways to success for local students!

We enjoyed learning more about the incredible support services Lamar High School provides for students facing economic hardship, housing instability, and behavioral challenges.
Thank you to Raul Rivera Colon and Roxanne Van Ravensway, Lamar High School’s Student Service Center and Title I Coordinators, for sharing how they are helping students overcome barriers and achieve success.
We are excited to explore opportunities to partner with Lamar High School and bring our Youth Getting Ahead program to graduating seniors, empowering them with tools, resources, and strategies to build a brighter future.
