Village Fire Department Ladder 1 responded to a residential structure fire alongside Houston Fire Department working quickly to knock down heavy smoke and fire conditions with L1 crew performing vertical ventilation on the roof.

Yesterday was very busy for Village Fire Department crews.

Started off the morning with a house fire in Spring Valley Village. The fire resulted in extensive damage to the residence. Fire Investigators determined the cause to be an exhaust fan in a bathroom.

Additionally, L-1 responded to several automatic aids call with HFD.
