The Huffman. Lion's continues to support all the staff of Huffman ISD, recently the weekend of August 3 during the annual Welcome Back the Staff our club gave away personal umbrellas. The umbrellas were a huge success and all were given away.

Our friends at Busta burger were We kind enough to call me this morning and offer to buy our Easter eggs for 2025 and 2026 from the 99cent store in Atascocita. I met Lira there and she bought the Huffman Lions Club 12,100 eggs. . The store is closing and she paid $60.00 for all of them. Thank you much Busta Burgers. There one more pallet but I had no room in or on the truck. Bill the manager said $25.00 for the pallet. They are selling today whatever you can get in a basket for $20.00..

Tonight the Huffman Lions gave 8, 1 thousand dollar scholarships to deserving students from Hargrave High School. Thank you to President Miles and lions member Leah for handing out the awards.

Your Huffman Lions Club has been holding the community Easter Egg Hunt for 15 years and gets better and better. Come out and let's the kids ride a pony, ride the train , climb a rock wall and of course thousands of candy filled eggs. There will be golden eggs with a special prize. Right in Huffman on FM 1960 next to the Baptist church.
Did I mention it's ALL FREE. NO COST . FREE

We would like to shout out a huge Thank You to the Huffman Lions Club. The Huffman Lions Club graciously donated Maturation Goody Bags for our 4th grade students. The bags contain hygiene essentials such as: shampoo, conditioner, comb, toothbrush, deodorant, Q-tips, Band-Aids etc. that all growing 4th graders need. 😊

What an incredible Lions Christmas Party.
Special thank you to our Past District Governor Paul Moore and his wife, District Governor Neil Landers and his wife, 1st Vice District Governor Bill Simpson and his wife, 2nd Vice District Governor Mike George and his wife. We also want to thank Lion Christine Jordan and all the LEO's and Lions Leah Dyess and Leslie O'Brian for decorations and lastly Lion Tom Landels for all the amazing gifts and Club President's Dyess for hosting the event. What a night.

400 rolls of toilet paper, 576 small tubes of toothpaste, 400 hotel sized shampoos, 400 small bars of soap and 1000 razors!!! That is the awesome donation dropped off today by Tom Landels from the Huffman Lions Club. Thanks for providing these needed items for our customers.

Tom Landels with the Huffman Lions Club presented the Huffman Food Pantry with a $1200 check today to help with our Thanksgiving boxes. That will buy A LOT of stuffing mixes or turkeys or other items needed for the boxes! We greatly appreciate their generosity and support.
