Wishing all of our Precinct 6 students a happy summer! With the school year coming to an end, there will be an increase in kids playing outside during their summer break. It is a great time to remember to drive extra cautiously this time of year.

•Always anticipate that a child could run out from behind a parked car to cross the street

•Teach your children not to cross the street when there is oncoming traffic

•Look twice in both directions for bicyclist before proceeding through an intersection

•Teach children to look both ways before they cross a street
-----

Thank you Officer James Tran for your quick response this morning. Here within 10 mins of call. We called HPD @ 5am Because of break in vehicles and still waiting.
Can ANYTHING be done about the tow truck drivers? Just today I’m in the left lane going forward when one jumps in front of me from the right lane almost striking my car all to get to a minor accident. This token policy is absurd. You guys need to consider a contract that lasts a year and change out companies. They’re dangerous and today almost caused a major accident to get to a minor accident.
When are you going to charge your officer who killed Nicholas Chavez?? Where is the body cam footage?? Where is the external investigation??
Ya'll murdered this man. How do you justify this shooting?
