🌟 Staff Spotlight: Renee King 🌟
Few people have shaped the Houston insurance community quite like Renee King (Stager).
Since joining IIAH in 1997, Renee has been a driving force behind the association's growth and success. Her insurance career began in 1978 at North American Insurance Agency, and she later brought her expertise to organizations including Anco Houston and Gallagher.
A graduate of St. Pius X High School and attendee of Abilene Christian University, Renee has built a career centered on education, mentorship, and service. She authored and instructed the Insurance Service Associate (ISA) Program, taught licensing exam prep courses, and played a pivotal role in developing insurance professionals across our industry.
One of her most lasting contributions is Houston Insurance Day, which grew from a small one-day trade show into the largest single-day insurance show in the Southwest under her leadership and vision.
This year, Renee's impact was recognized when the Outstanding Service Award was renamed in her honor at Houston Insurance Day. Her legacy also continues through her daughter, Shelby Hibbard, who recently joined the IIAH team last September.
Whether she's serving the industry, supporting her family as a mother and grandmother, or cheering on her beloved Houston Astros, Renee leads with passion, dedication, and heart.
Thank you, Renee, for your decades of service and the lasting impact you've made on IIAH and the insurance community. ⚾🧡💙
Next time you are at an event, come say hi to Renee! 👋
