Meet Your 2026–2027 HAPL Leadership Team!

Next in our leadership series, we’re pleased to introduce HAPL Treasurer, Christine Touchstone, CPL!

Christine is the Land Manager for LeFrak Energy, where she has worked since 2011. She manages oil and gas assets across Alabama, Louisiana, New Mexico, Oklahoma, and Texas and works with the company’s acquisitions and divestitures team. Before joining LeFrak, she worked as a contract landman in several Texas oil and gas fields and the Eagle Ford and Barnett shales.

Christine has devoted many years to serving the land profession. Her HAPL roles include Assistant Treasurer, Director, Executive Night Chair, and AAPL Region IV Director. She was named HAPL’s Outstanding Landman of the Year in 2024.

Her service to AAPL has included Secretary, leadership of education and certification committees, mentoring, and teaching RPL/CPL review and exam courses. She also serves with AAPL’s Educational Foundation and continues to support education and professional development across the industry.

A Houston native, Christine earned a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Science from Texas A&M University, a certification in Petroleum Land Management from the University of Texas, and AAPL’s Renewable Energy certificate. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, reading, the beach, time at her family’s cabin in Alaska, and being with family, friends, and her fur baby, Gidget.
