Fort Bend County Judge Daniel Wong would like to take a moment to recognize National Start Over Day, a time to honor fresh starts and new beginnings.

Let us all remember that choosing to start again is a powerful act of courage. Whether someone is beginning a new chapter, rebuilding after challenges, or simply taking a positive step forward, every move toward growth matters.

May this day inspire hope, renewed confidence, and the belief that brighter paths are always ahead.

This June, Fort Bend County Judge Daniel Wong would like to highlight Care for Your Grandparents Month. This is a meaningful moment to appreciate the individuals who guide, support, and uplift younger generations, whether they are grandparents, great-grandparents, or anyone who fills that special role in a family or community.

We encourage everyone to reach out to those who have shared wisdom, care, and stability across generations with a call, a visit, or a thoughtful gesture. These acts help strengthen our families and honor the foundations built for us.

Let’s all carry that spirit throughout the month.

As we continue to celebrate America the Beautiful Week, the Office of Fort Bend County Judge Daniel Wong encourages everyone to help keep our families and communities safe and prepared.

It’s also National CPR & AED Awareness Week (June 1–7), an important reminder that learning CPR and knowing how to use an AED can save a life.

• Learn CPR
• Know where AEDs are located
• Be prepared to help a neighbor or loved one in an emergency

Let’s work together to protect our community and be the beat that saves a life!
