This morning, we gathered in Lauren’s Garden at Market Square Park for a solemn and beautiful remembrance of the 25th anniversary of September 11, 2001.

Mayor John Whitmire, Mr. Catuzzi, special guests, and members of the Houston community came together to honor Lauren Catuzzi Grandcolas and the thousands of lives lost on that tragic day.

Through Lauren’s Garden, her memory continues to have a place in the heart of our city where Houstonians can pause, reflect, and remember the lives and stories behind September 11.

We remember. We honor. We will never forget.
