Our First Grade Dual Cubs are real-life superheroes! 🦸‍♀️🦸‍♂️✨

These amazing students showed off their superhero spirit while celebrating something truly powerful: speaking two languages! Their ability to learn, grow, and communicate in both English and Spanish is a superpower that will continue to help them shine.

We are so proud of our bilingual superheroes.

☀️🌊 Sun’s Out, Cubs Out! 🐯💦

Today, our Safety Patrol, Honor Society, and ASB students enjoyed a well-deserved trip to the water park!

These Cubs earned this special reward through hard work, leadership, responsibility, integrity, and perseverance. We are so proud of the positive example they set every day at Cross Elementary.

Our 5th grade Cubs had an exciting visit to Frank Wright Middle School today! 🐾

They toured the campus, met staff, and got the chance to learn their way around as they prepare for the big step into middle school next year.

We are going to miss our 5th graders so much, but we know they are ready to shine and excel in 6th grade. Once a Cub, always a Cub! ✨📚

🌎✨ Multicultural Day at Cross Elementary! ✨🌎

Today, our Cubs from TK through 5th grade celebrated cultures from around the world! Each classroom represented a different country, giving students the chance to “travel” from room to room, learn something new, and get their passports stamped along the way.

From Mexico to China, Italy to Australia, and Peru to Egypt, our classrooms took students on a journey across the globe, with many more countries represented along the way!

Over the past few weeks, students learned about their country’s traditions, food, clothing, art, music, and culture. They also created beautiful projects and crafts to share with their classmates and visitors.

It was such a fun day celebrating the many cultures that make our world so special. Great job, Cubs! 🌍🐾✨
