On Memorial Day, Monday, May 25, students from Field Kindley High School were honored during the Memorial Ceremony at Restlawn Cemetery. Cooper Hall, also a Tri-County 607 student in Mrs Thia’s class, was one of the students who received an Outstanding Volunteer Award. This recognition was presented for his hard work and dedication in helping clean and prepare the cemetery for the Memorial Day service. His efforts demonstrated respect, community pride, and appreciation for the veterans and families honored during the ceremony. We are incredibly proud of Cooper for giving back to the community through service and helping ensure the cemetery was ready for this meaningful day of remembrance. Way to go Cooper!

Fun things are happening in Mrs Thia’s class at FKHS! End of the year trip to the Sculpture Garden in Coffeyville for some silly photos and then the Science and Technology Center in Independence. Mrs. Thia says "Our kids love this place! We visited 3 separate times this year, and we get to touch every single thing!" So much fun and learning!
