🎉 ICJ Training Academy Class #008 Graduation! 🎓

The Indiana County Jail proudly congratulates Basic Training Academy Class #008 on the successful completion of their academy!

Class #008 holds a special place in the history of our academy as our largest class to date. With 11 cadets representing multiple ranks and agencies, this group brought a great mix of experience, personalities, and perspectives to the classroom and training floor.

Over the past four weeks, they faced demanding instruction, hands-on exercises, physical challenges, and realistic scenarios designed to prepare them for the realities of working in corrections. Through it all, they showed commitment, teamwork, and a willingness to learn and grow together.

🎉 ICJ Training Academy Class #007 Graduation! 🎓

Today, the Indiana County Jail proudly recognizes the graduation of Basic Training Academy Class #007.

Over the past four weeks, these cadets have demonstrated dedication, professionalism, and a commitment to the corrections profession. Through classroom instruction, hands-on training, physical challenges, and realistic scenarios, they have developed the skills necessary to begin their careers with confidence.

We are proud to recognize the graduates of Class #007: Cadets J. Crissman, B. Hauger, H. Henigan, C. Leightley, E. Mooney, C. Sherry, C. Skultety, and N. Vivian.

Class #007 brought determination, teamwork, and a positive attitude to every day of training. Along the way, lessons were learned, challenges were overcome, friendships were built, and plenty of memories were made.

🎉 Today, the Indiana County Jail proudly recognizes the graduation of Basic Training Academy Class #006. 🎓

While this may have been a smaller academy class, it was one filled with heart, determination, and dedication. Over the past several weeks, these cadets demonstrated professionalism, discipline, and a commitment to the corrections profession through classroom instruction, hands-on practical training, physical challenges, and scenario-based exercises.

We are proud to recognize the graduates of Class #006: Cadets A. Lindley, D. Dagostino, and R. Ferringer.

Throughout the academy, many laughs were shared, friendships were formed, and strong bonds were built that will continue throughout their careers. Their hard work and perseverance led them to this accomplishment, and we could not be prouder of what they achieved together.

National Corrections Officer Appreciation Week officially came to a close on May 9th, and the Indiana County Jail would like to once again recognize and thank all of our dedicated Corrections Officers and staff for their hard work, professionalism, and commitment each and every day.

To finish out the week, staff came together for a cookout at the jail, with our own Officer K. Brown stepping up to the grill and cooking for staff. It was a great way to close out the week and spend time together recognizing the teamwork and dedication shared throughout our facility.

Thank you to all Corrections Officers — both here at Indiana County Jail and across the country — for the sacrifices you make and the important role you serve every day.

The Indiana County Jail would like to extend our sincere appreciation to the many local businesses and community members who generously supported National Corrections Officer Appreciation Week basket raffle hosted by UMWA Local 4702.

This event was fully organized and coordinated by UMWA Local 4702, the union representing our corrections officers, with special recognition to Corrections Officer Schroth for his time and effort in bringing it all together. His dedication created a meaningful way to recognize the professionalism, commitment, and hard work of our staff.
