Did you know that the Chevy Chase Center-Indiana PA serves a homemade, fresh, hot meal Monday through Friday from 11:30 - 1:00pm?!

Adriene is making homemade gnocchi today. She consistently creates excellent meals and guides her team to feed our community.

From creation of the menu, to ordering, managing food budgets, all while serving up to 130 people in an hour and a half is extraordinary. She remembers everyone's names, dietary needs, and creates friendships with our clients.

Big Kudos go out to this strong, powerful woman!

The Indiana County Conservation District and Nature Works Farm recently donated flower plugs to the Indiana Community Garden, and we're excited to see them become part of this month's Picnic in the Garden!

Deb, Board President, and Paula, Board Member, represented the Chevy Chase Center at Arin Intermediate’s Employee Appreciation Event by hosting an information table. They had the opportunity to share our mission, highlight the services we provide, and talk about the day-to-day impact of our work. They also hosted a fun activity where the kids made dirt pudding 🪱. Thank you to Giana and Brionna for helping with this activity!

Arin Intermediate organized this special event to recognize and thank its employees for their hard work throughout the school year. Good job everyone! We are incredibly grateful that you chose the Chevy Chase Center as the recipient of the food collected during this event.

Following the event, Arin Intermediate delivered an incredible 533.7 pounds of donated items, including thoughtfully assembled birthday kits. In addition, they donated 186 pounds of food, which was served to those in Conner hall.

On Monday, our Meals 2 You clients received a special treat with their lunch—a delicious and refreshing açaí bowl! 🍓🫐

Our Meals 2 You program provides daily lunches, for only $5.00 a meal, to elderly, disabled, and homebound individuals throughout our community, delivered by our amazing volunteers. We love finding little ways to brighten their day, and these colorful açaí bowls were a fun and nutritious addition to Monday’s meal.

A big thank you to our dedicated volunteers who not only deliver meals but also provide a friendly smile and connection to those who may be isolated at home. Together, we’re nourishing both body and spirit, one meal at a time. ❤️
