Teens will get creative and celebrate summer with a patriotic lantern craft. Using mason jars, Mod Podge, and colorful tissue paper, participants will design their own festive lantern to take home.

Get creative with clay at Stoke Hole Pottery! Teens will have the opportunity to create their own pottery project during this special off-site class at Stoke Hole Pottery.

This program is limited to 10 teens. Participants must be dropped off and picked up at Stoke Hole Pottery. Finished projects will be available for pickup in the days following the event.

The Indiana Free Library will be closed on Thursday, June 18, in observance of Juneteenth.

Juneteenth commemorates the end of slavery in the United States and honors the ongoing journey toward freedom, equality, and justice.

The library is regularly closed on Friday, June 19. We will reopen on Saturday, June 20, at 10:00 AM and look forward to serving you then.

We wish everyone a safe and meaningful Juneteenth.

Celebrate America's 250th with a FREE trip to Fort Ligonier!

Step back in time and experience history where it happened. Children ages 8–11 and one accompanying adult are invited to join the Indiana Free Library for a special day at Fort Ligonier on Wednesday, July 1.

Explore the historic fort, meet costumed interpreters, and discover what life was like during the French and Indian War through hands-on activities and demonstrations.

✔ Free transportation
✔ Free admission
✔ Limited to 20 children

Registration IS OPEN and spots are expected to fill quickly. Once the trip reaches capacity, registration will automatically close.
*Remember registration must be one adult for one child.
