Lisa Harris, M.D., chief executive officer at Eskenazi Health, has been named to Forbes’ “50 Over 50” in the category of innovation.

Dr. Harris was recognized for her leadership in groundbreaking initiatives to transform health care, especially for individuals who are low-income and most burdened by chronic disease. Her work to improve health outcomes while reducing health care costs through the expansion of primary care and mental health care was also highlighted.

Dr. Harris is the only health system CEO represented on the list and one of only a handful of women selected from the Midwest.

Level up your weekend breakfast game and celebrate autumn at our Teen Chef Program at Indianapolis Lawrence Library!

This workshop is designed specifically for teens ages 13-18 and will teach your teen foodie how to whip up fluffy, perfectly spiced pumpkin waffles from scratch. Teens will get hands on experience with kitchen skills like baking, chopping, and plating their breakfast creations, and learn helpful nutrition tips along the way.
