Early detection saves lives.

Existing cancer screenings are critical, but too many cancers are still found after symptoms appear. The Multi-Cancer Early Detection (MCED) Act helps advance access to new tools that could help detect more cancers earlier, when treatment is often most effective.

Thank you to the lawmakers who supported this important step forward.

At Cancer Support Community, we know that behind every cancer diagnosis is a person, a family and a community seeking hope.

This Cancer Survivors Month, we are encouraged by new evidence showing that multi-cancer early detection technology may help identify more cancers at earlier stages and reduce the number of diagnoses that come too late all through a simple blood test. Earlier detection can mean more treatment options and more survivors.

As advocates for patients and families, we welcome innovations that have the potential to improve cancer outcomes and bring hope to more people facing this disease. https://www.dailymail.com/health/article-15860755/Holy-Grail-blood-test-cancer-save-lives.html

A pioneering blood test that can detect more than 50 cancers before symptoms appear could save tens of thousands of lives a year, promising new research suggests.
