Pathway to Recovery

Multi-tiered Substance-Free Supportive Housing programs for residents in recovery. Support is provided 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Our original program, Pathway-I is a 21-bed supportive housing program and serves as the pointy of entry for participants arriving from the streets and shelters. Services include mental health and addiction support, individual and group therapy, case management, goal planning, employment referral assistance, daily living skills, relapse prevention, aftercare, and housing placement. Trained staff a

nd former program graduates serving as “peer support specialists” give participants the skills and support required to live a healthy independent life. Pathway-I operates at maximum capacity with a waiting list for admission. In November of 2009, Pathway acquired a sixth facility to create 20 new units of affordable permanent housing for formerly homeless individuals and families. The project is in the initial stages of development and we are working to secure funds needed to rehabilitate the property. We hope to complete the renovation during 2010 and begin occupancy the latter part of 2011. This will increase Pathway' capacity to almost 100 homeless individuals and families.

We’re grateful for our partnership with Samuel Robinson and The Hermitage, who spend time with our residents each week leading guided meditation.

Recovery is about more than putting down drugs and alcohol. It’s about learning new ways to deal with stress, slow down, and work through life without going back to old behaviors.

These weekly sessions give our residents another tool they can carry with them as they continue building a life in recovery.

Thank you, Samuel and The Hermitage, for continuing to show up for our residents and support the work we’re doing at Pathway!

The importance of service to others cannot be overstated.

Recovery is about more than changing your own life. It’s about using what you’ve been given to show up for someone else.

Happy 9 months to Danny Lee Ruble and 18 months to Renee Ruble!

Two members of the same family, both putting in the work and building something different for themselves and the people they love.

And we didn’t forget about little Journey!

The ripple effect goes both ways. Addiction impacts families, but so does recovery.

Watching a family heal together is something worth celebrating.

Happy 9 and 18 months! Keep going!

Big congratulations to Day Day on celebrating 18 months in recovery!

In the last year and a half, you've put your head down and gone to work. You not only landed a job and earned a promotion, but you also helped three fellow pathway residents get hired along the way.

Celebration of life at Pathway to Recovery honoring Robert Hutchison. Lisa Northcross Hutchison is a longtime friend and supporter. “Hutch” crossed over with 36 years of sobriety. On Saturday August 1st, his recovery community joined family and friends to say goodbye. Memorial gifts can be made in his honor.

Congratulations to Danny, Adam, and Matthew for graduating from Pathway 1 and moving into our Semi-Independent Housing Program!

This is a big step. Recovery isn’t about being perfect, it’s about showing up every day, staying willing, and continuing to move forward. These three men have put in the work, and today they get to celebrate that.
