Pathway to Recovery

Pathway to Recovery Multi-tiered Substance-Free Supportive Housing programs for residents in recovery. Support is provided 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Our original program, Pathway-I is a 21-bed supportive housing program and serves as the pointy of entry for participants arriving from the streets and shelters. Services include mental health and addiction support, individual and group therapy, case management, goal planning, employment referral assistance, daily living skills, relapse prevention, aftercare, and housing placement. Trained staff a

nd former program graduates serving as “peer support specialists” give participants the skills and support required to live a healthy independent life. Pathway-I operates at maximum capacity with a waiting list for admission. In November of 2009, Pathway acquired a sixth facility to create 20 new units of affordable permanent housing for formerly homeless individuals and families. The project is in the initial stages of development and we are working to secure funds needed to rehabilitate the property. We hope to complete the renovation during 2010 and begin occupancy the latter part of 2011. This will increase Pathway' capacity to almost 100 homeless individuals and families.

Happy Mother’s Day from all of us at Pathway to Recovery!

Today we honor the strength, sacrifice, love, and resilience of mothers everywhere. We recognize the mothers in recovery, the mothers waiting for loved ones to heal, the women who stepped into mother roles when they didn’t have to, the mothers fighting through loss, and all of the mother's that are the glue holding their families together!

We wouldn't be here without you! Today, we celebrate you and you deserve every minute!

Today is a big one!!

One of our own, Dax Bastian, just purchased a car for the first time in years.

That might sound simple on the outside, but it’s not.

For many of the men we serve, something like owning a vehicle represents a long climb back. It means:

• Rebuilding identification, finances, and credit
• Maintaining sobriety long enough to create stability
• Showing up to work consistently and earning trust
• Learning how to budget instead of survive day-to-day
• Staying accountable even when it would be easier not to

There were years where transportation meant relying on others, walking, or missing opportunities altogether. A car changes that. It creates access. It creates independence. It creates responsibility.

But more than anything, it represents momentum.

This didn’t happen overnight. This is the result of months of structure, support, setbacks, and choosing to keep going.

We’re proud of you!!

Please help us congratulate our two most recent graduates of Pathway 1!

Both have completed at least six months in recovery while staying engaged in mental health support, built consistency with over 90 days at their employer, and reached self-sufficiency by covering their own rental cost.

They are now taking the next step, transitioning into our semi-independent program with a six month lease as they continue working toward their own apartment.

This is what possibilities look like. Proud of both of you! Way to be an example to the new guy!

Paying it forward!!

After last week’s wind took down our fence, our residents didn’t hesitate. They volunteered their time, stepped up, and put in the work to get it back up and secure for a fellow property.

This isnt a place to just stop using drugs or alcohol. It’s a community where people choose to show up for each other, give back, and take pride in where they are and where they’re going.

Grateful to be part of this culture.
