Earlier this summer, our good friends at Skyline Club Indy helped gather furniture for a family moving into our community-based housing program!

If you didn't know, survivors with lower safety barriers don't have to live at Coburn Place. They can choose where they want to rebuild in Marion County, and we can still help with rent and prepping their new home.

Thanks again to these wonderful volunteers for their dedication to our mission of providing safe homes to survivors of domestic violence in Indianapolis! 💜

Somewhere in Indianapolis right now, a mother is tucking her child into a warm bed, in a safe home — a home that your generosity helped make possible. She arrived at Coburn Place with only the clothes on her back. She left with a lease, a job, and a future that just 15 months ago seemed impossible.

Coburn Place hosted Family Game Night last week, and it was a huge success! Our community room was filled with smiles and buzzing with the sounds of laughter.

For families rebuilding after escaping domestic violence, moments of connection, fun and normalcy can be incredibly meaningful. Family time gives survivors and their children an opportunity to simply be together, create happy memories and enjoy the everyday moments.

Getting around town can be a struggle for survivors. That's why we're so grateful to the Indianapolis Public Library for bringing books straight to the kids we serve with the Bookmobile! Whenever they see the Bookmobile in our parking lot, their faces light up because they know they're in for a treat. Thank you for inspiring our kids. 💜
