We know many in our community have been affected by the recent flooding, and as always, Mid-North Food Pantry is here to help provide food to our neighbors who need it. 💛💙

Whether you’ve visited us before or this is your first time needing a little extra help, you are welcome at our pantry.

Our regular pantry hours are:

10 a.m.–12 p.m.

📢 Pantry Update: Outdoor Distribution

Our passenger elevator is currently out of service, and we anticipate it may be a couple more weeks before it is repaired, inspected, and available for use.

Because our pantry is located in the basement, we will hold pantry distribution outside until the elevator is back in service.

If weather prevents us from safely holding distribution outside, we will still accommodate anyone who is unable to use the stairs. Please come to the parking lot on the east side of the building, and our team will serve you there.

We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience as we work through this temporary challenge. Our team is doing everything we can to make sure we continue feeding our neighbors and that everyone can access the food they need.

UPDATE: You all showed up big time. We have enough people to help tomorrow and will be holding pantry outside. It looks like the elevator is going to be out for longer than we expected. Please sign up for another date to help if you’re able!

🚨 WE NEED 6 VOLUNTEERS FOR TOMORROW PR WE WILL HAVE TO CANCEL PANTRY! 🚨

Our passenger elevator was recently repaired, but we are still waiting for the required inspection before we can use it. Because our pantry is located in the basement, we need to move Wednesday’s pantry outside.

Unfortunately, most of our regular Wednesday crew is unable to volunteer outdoors. We need 6 volunteers to help us open and serve our neighbors tomorrow.

We are currently serving 240+ families each pantry day, and we do not want to turn those families away.

As summer comes to a close, we want to give a huge thank you to our incredible summer interns, Donald and Katie! 🌟

They jumped in wherever they were needed and made a real difference for our pantry and the families we serve. Their positive attitudes and willingness to help with anything made them true rock stars.

We are so grateful for everything you both did. Thank you for spending your summer with us! We hope you have an amazing school year, and we’ll definitely miss seeing you around the pantry!

Wow! Our inaugural Polo at Sunset was a huge success! 🎉

Because of the incredible generosity of our community, we raised just under $19,000 to help fight hunger right here in our community!

✨ What a wonderful evening of kindness at Mid-North Food Pantry, Inc.! 💚

Our 24 kid-volunteers and their grown ups came together to learn, serve and practice kindness. We kicked things off with a fun pantry scavenger hunt, exploring how food pantries work and discovering all the ways they help care for neighbors in our community. Together, we reflected on why everyone deserves access to nourishing food and how even small acts of kindness can make a big impact. Then it was time to roll up our sleeves!

Families worked side by side to pack 100 nourishing meals kits with personalized recipe cards to support neighbors experiencing food insecurity. 🧡

Join us at Hickory Hall Polo Club for an exciting Polo Match while raising funds to help feed our neighbors.

Schedule
- Gates open at 5:00 PM for tailgating, mingling, and family fun
- The polo match begins at 6:00 PM and wraps up around 9:00 PM
- General Admission is $40/Car

Today, we served 274 families.

At this time last year, serving 274 families in a single day would have been a record. Today, it’s becoming our new normal.

The need in our community continues to grow, and this summer, we’re seeing more and more neighbors turning to the pantry for help putting food on the table.
