Cradle Circles meets at Westminster on Tuesday, October 27, 6-7PM. This program, in partnreship with Cradle Indy, provides postpartum support group for new parents. Build community and access helpful resources.

Westminster's soup kitchen serves hot meals two mornings a week, and the food pantry opens three days a week. Both run on volunteers. Open shifts: Monday and Thursday, 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., and Tuesday, 5:45 to 7:45 p.m.

Mirror Indy spent a morning at the Westminster food pantry for a story on FEEDINDY, the city program that paid for Lyft rides to and from the grocery store. It has been paused since April.

Mandy Wright-Jarrett, who manages our family and adult services, shared that 58% of the people who use our pantry get here on foot, by bike or by bus. One neighbor in the story walks 11 blocks home with a box of groceries on his shoulder.

This work is incredibly important for those in need. We'll keep providing hope and nourishment, however our neighbors find their way to us.

FEEDINDY was a partnership with Lyft and has been paused since April.

Senior Pantry is Wednesday, October 21 at Westminster. Open to anyone 55 and older in Marion County. Pantry 9AM to noon, hot meal 10 to 11:45AM.

Westminster is collecting diapers throughout October. Sizes 5 and 6 are what families on the Near Eastside need most right now.

**Update** Gennesaret Free Clinics mobile clinic will no longer be available on Monday, October 19.

The Housing Fair will run 9AM to noon with information and resources on affordable housing for families, seniors and those living with disabilities across Marion County. The pantry and soup kitchen keep their regular hours.

Our matching gift challenge closed on September 30. Four donors started it this summer. Neighbors across Indianapolis met the goal, and then the match kept going. This generosity has gone into the food pantry, soup kitchen, and case management that empowers and uplifts our neighbors on the Near Eastside. Thank you!

The Annual Westminster Block Party was a huge success! Neighbors, volunteers, and partners filled the lot outside our building for an afternoon of food, fun, and music. If you came, we loved spending time with you. If you missed it, we hope to catch up with you soon at the food pantry, soup kitchen or on an upcoming volunteer shift.

Free medical care is available today during our food pantry. The Gennesaret Free Clinics mobile unit will be parked outside Westminster from 9AM to 12PM. Walk in. No appointment, no insurance, and no payment required. Minor injuries, minor illnesses, chronic conditions, and women's health. They'll be back again Monday, October 19.
