Our Flashes know that sometimes the best part of the school day is simply sitting around the table with your friends, sharing stories, laughing until your stomach hurts, and making memories.

Because at Kitley, connection matters. And there’s nothing better than seeing our kids enjoying each other and making lunchroom memories the Kitley way!

Our 5th grade authors are proving that great writing doesn’t happen in just one draft!

Mrs. Snyder’s students are taking their personal narratives to the next level with the help of SchoolAI! Students are receiving feedback, making revisions, and discovering how even the smallest changes can make a BIG difference in their writing.

They’re learning that writing is a process; write, revise, reflect, and grow! And we LOVE watching these young authors find their voices and become more confident writers along the way.

That’s the Kitley Way: Keep growing, keep learning, and keep believing in what you can do!

Our 4th graders kneaded, shaped, and sculpted their way through Indiana’s geographic regions with some seriously hands-on learning!

From the Northern Lakes & Moraines to the Southern Hills & Lowlands, our Flashes brought Indiana’s geography to LIFE one salt dough map at a time!

Because who says learning has to mean sitting at a desk? When you can touch it, build it, shape it, and create it, you’re making learning stick!

Okayyyyy, Kitley… we see you. 👀

These Flashes were CAUGHT BEING KIND and we are here for it! Staff recognized these students for showing that kindness really IS their superpower; helping others, including people, showing empathy, making good choices, and just being the kind of humans we want walking our halls.

Not everyone made it into the photo this week, but EVERY Flash of the Week recognized deserves a giant shoutout!

Keep being kind. Keep lifting people up. Keep showing us The Kitley Way.

HAPPY MONDAY, FLASHES!

Did you finish your homework? Did you remember where you put your backpack? Did you even remember you HAVE a backpack?

No worries. We’ve got this.

New week. New chances. New opportunities.

Our PE Fundraiser qualified sellers earned the ultimate reward: BALLOON PALOOZA!

And friends… it’s exactly what it sounds like.

Students got the green light to pelt some of their favorite staff members with water balloons, and let’s just say… THE KIDS CAME TO AIM.

There were:
LOTS of laughs
LOTS of water
LOTS of popped balloons
And maybe a few minor bruises to prove we committed to the experience

The staff got soaked. The kids had a BLAST. And we’re pretty sure everyone left a little happier and a LOT wetter!

Talk about making a splash!

Way to go, Flashes, on crushing the PE Fundraiser and thank you to our brave staff for taking one for the team!
