Coachella Valley Rescue Mission Since 1971, Coachella Valley Rescue Mission has been an oasis & a place of refuge for the displaced and needy in our valley. Core Program Purposes

Vision Statement

As ministers of reconciliation, we are to facilitate the reconciliation of men and women to God, to themselves, and to society. Those in need of recovery due to loss of job, home, health, emotional, mental or spiritual support, or physical or substance abuse find themselves drawn to our ministry. We are to facilitate that reconciliation through the available means of this Mission

, i.e. food, clothing, shelter, counseling and discipleship. Through these modalities we pave the way for them to be reconciled. Continue the work of Jesus Christ through evangelism, discipleship, and serving the spiritual and physical needs of the disadvantaged.
2. Provide for the emergency needs of the impoverished and destitute of the Coachella Valley through shelter and food services, rehabilitation programs, spiritually-based counseling, education, job skills, and transitional living.
3. Inform and involve the public in caring for the needy.

At the Coachella Valley Rescue Mission, we are committed to helping those in need, and the demand for assistance is highest during the summer. With temps already reaching triple digits, our homeless neighbors in the Coachella Valley are already fighting to stay healthy. We provide cooling centers, safe shelter, food, and water when these neighbors need it most.

We urgently need your help to ensure our shelves are fully stocked with life-saving essentials and the doors stay open for those with nowhere else to turn.

💙🚐 Wednesday on the Streets with CVRM Street Outreach 🚐💙

Today, the CVRM Street Outreach Team continued serving individuals experiencing homelessness throughout Mecca, Thermal, Coachella, and Indio — meeting people where they are with compassion, encouragement, and practical support. 🙏

The team connected with 20 individuals, providing food, water, blankets, jackets, and other essential items, along with information about the life-changing programs and services available through CVRM. 🥤🧥🍞

One especially meaningful moment came when the team encountered an individual expressing a sincere desire for positive change. Our team took time to offer guidance toward next steps for stability and provided a bus pass to assist with immediate needs. The individual was receptive, encouraged, and reminded that hope is still possible. 💙🚌✨

Every interaction is an opportunity to plant seeds of hope, build trust, and remind people they are seen, valued, and not forgotten.

Today, the CVRM Street Outreach Team continued serving throughout Mecca, Thermal, Coachella, and Indio — meeting individuals where they are and offering hope, compassion, and support to those experiencing homelessness. 🙏

Today, the CVRM Street Outreach Team traveled throughout Palm Desert, Rancho Mirage, Bermuda Dunes, and La Quinta serving individuals experiencing homelessness with Grace-to-Go bags, water, clothing, encouragement, and hope. 💙🙏

Throughout the day, our team shared information about the resources and support available through Coachella Valley Rescue Mission, while continuing to encourage individuals toward sobriety, recovery, healing, and a renewed future. Every conversation is an opportunity to remind someone that a better life is possible. ✨

One powerful moment came when an individual already familiar with CVRM expressed a desire to enter the program. Moments like these are a reminder that consistent outreach, compassion, and simply showing up can truly change lives. 🙌

Our Outreach Team remains committed to faithfully serving the Coachella Valley and helping individuals take steps toward restoration, stability, and hope through Christ.
