UPDATE - Boil Advisory LIFTED - Leopold Street

The Jasper Municipal Water Department announces the Boil Water Advisory issued for Leopold Street, between 13th and 14th Street has been LIFTED.

Water is safe for human and pet consumption. If your water has discoloration, please run your cold water tap until it clears.

Notices are being placed on doors of the affected customers.

UPDATE - BOIL ADVISORY - Planned Water Outage - Leopold Street

The Jasper Municipal Water Department announces the water supply has been turned back on for water customers on Leopold Street, between 13th and 14th Street. However, a boil advisory will be in effect until further notice.

The Boil Water Advisory is being issued to prevent residents from getting sick from potentially harmful germs or chemicals in the water.

Residents affected are asked to boil their water for 5 minutes before human and pet consumption. The water is safe for bathing.

The Boil Water Advisory will last a minimum of 48 hours or until 2 consecutive water samples pass testing. Another notification will be made once the Boil Water Advisory is lifted.

Notification of Planned Water Outage & Street Closure - Leopold Street

The Jasper Municipal Water Department will be turning off the water supply on Monday, May 18th, from 8:00AM to 3:00PM, weather permitting. The affected area is Leopold Street, between 13th and 14th Street.

There will be no parking and the street will be closed in this area during the working hours.

After the work is completed, you may experience discolored water and air in your service line. To correct the issues, turn on your cold water tap and run for five minutes.
