🚨 HAPPENING NOW IN PATERSON! 🚨

Today’s FREE Expungement Clinic is underway at Christ Temple Baptist Church , powered by Blaze Responsibly®️ and RISE Dispensaries New Jersey . The Coalition for Food and Health Equity is proud to partner with Blaze to support an event centered on fresh starts, second chances, and community care. 💚

And because care includes making sure folks have something nourishing to take home, we’re providing fresh produce boxes from Fairgrown Farm along with some delicious cookies from Victory Cookies. 🍑🥬🍪

We're continuing to bring FREE, locally grown produce to neighborhoods across Hudson County through our Fresh by Ujamaa Cafe Farm Stand program, made possible with the generous support of the Hudson County Board of County Commissioners in partnership with Fairgrown Farm.

Those words from Minister Valerie Seymour will stay with us. Her message on recovery, obedience, faith, and self-love was a powerful reminder that healing is possible and that God’s love has the power to restore.

Thank you to Pastor Jackson and the Allen AME Church family for inviting CFHE to be part of your third Faith for Recovery celebration.

It was our honor to partner with Broritos to provide food as you celebrated recovery milestones and created a space where faith, fellowship, and community came together. Congratulations to everyone who continues to choose healing, one day at a time. We are grateful to stand alongside you. 💜

Miss us in Bayonne? No worries—we’re headed to the North Bergen Public Library (1231 Kennedy Blvd.) this afternoon from 4–6 PM.

Yesterday’s farm stand at The View in Lincoln Park was full of fresh flavors, helping hands, and a few special guests! 🍑🌿

Chef Joe stopped by and transformed peaches and lemons straight from the farm stand into refreshing peach lemon smoothies with a touch of fresh mint, showing just how easy it is to create a healthy, delicious treat with farm-fresh ingredients. Needless to say…the samples were a hit! 🥤✨

We were also so grateful to welcome Pastor Jackson from Allen AME Church, who jumped right in to help distribute produce and share joy with our neighbors. We definitely appreciated the extra set of hands—thank you, Pastor Jackson! ❤️

And let’s hear it for yesterday’s all-star lineup: sweet peppers, garlic, nectarines, peaches, and so much more. 🍑🫑🧄
