This is a BIG one! CFHE’s Ujamaa Café has officially expanded to Camden, New Jersey with our first-ever Camden location AND our first-ever pharmacy location at Miguel's Pharmacy! 🙌🏾

We’re bringing fresh, healthy and culturally relevant food access into another space where community health already happens — and we are just getting started. 👀

Stay tuned for details on our official launch + ribbon cutting! And Camden… let’s just say this won’t be the last Ujamaa Café you see. 🤭

📍 BAYONNE — we’re popping up at Steven R. Gregg Park during JFZ Sports youth flag football.

📍 PATERSON — and yes, PATerson! We’re popping up in front of City Hall during the SCREEN & BE SEEN: Health + Wellness Fair hosted by Paterson City NJCEED

Both farm stands are 11 AM–1 PM this Saturday, October 3.

🚨 NEWARK — FARM STAND UPDATE! 🚨

Due to the impending nor’easter scheduled to impact the Newark area, tomorrow’s Farm Stand Pop-Up at Allen AME Church has been POSTPONED. 🌧️💨

The safety of our community, volunteers, and team always comes first, so we’re going to let Mother Nature have this one.

But don’t worry — we’ll be back! 🍎🥦🍠 We’ll announce the rescheduled date soon.

Say yes to apple pie. Say yes to apple crisp. Say a BIG yes to fresh apple cider. 🍏🥧🍎

Now come on down to the Fresh by Ujamaa Café farm stands, grab those apples, and go home and make ALL the apple things. Because if your kitchen doesn’t smell like cinnamon and apples right now… what are we doing?! 😂🍂

Now THAT is a testimony.

At our Jersey City Farm Stand, one of our shoppers shared that fresh fruits and vegetables have been an important part of her incredible health journey—and that our farm stand helps make those foods affordable and accessible to her.

Her accomplishment belongs to her. The discipline. The choices. The commitment to her health.

Our job is to help make sure access isn’t the obstacle.

To date, 3,620 shoppers have visited our Jersey City Farm Stand for fresh fruits and vegetables at no cost.

🥕 That’s 3,620 opportunities to put fresh food within reach.
🥦 3,620 opportunities to support the health of our neighbors.
🥗 3,620 reminders that food access is health infrastructure.

During Hunger Action Month, we extend a special thank you to the Hudson County Executive, Hudson County Board of Commissioners, and Hudson County Department of Health and Human Services for investing in an initiative that helps Hudson County residents live happier, healthier lives.
