Three weeks from today (Monday, June 22), antlerless deer licenses go on sale...

Share it, save it, mark it down — 2026-27 licenses go on sale Monday, June 22, 2026!

The first day to purchase your 2026-27 Pennsylvania hunting and trapping licenses AND resident antlerless licenses for ALL WMUs is Monday, June 22.

Like last year, ALL resident hunters are GUARANTEED an antlerless license in any WMU in the first round, IF purchased prior to July 13. No need to wait in line — you’ll have 21 days to get your guaranteed antlerless license!

Monday, June 22 (8 a.m.) – RESIDENTS ONLY: antlerless licenses on sale for all WMUs, guaranteed to all PA residents.

Monday, July 13 (8 a.m.) – NONRESIDENTS: unsold antlerless licenses available on a first come, first served basis. WMU allocations will apply.

IMPORTANT REMINDERS:

Hunters will need their state identification (driver’s license) OR CID number to purchase licenses in person and online. Your CID number can be found on your previous year’s hunting or fishing licenses.

Prior to purchasing your license, log in to your HuntFishPA account and update your email address. We’ll periodically email important information and updates about hunting licenses and regulations you won’t want to miss!

One antlerless deer license can be purchased per round in the first three rounds. More info at: https://bit.ly/Antlerless.

You DON’T have to purchase your license online; you can still purchase in-person at any license agent. Find the closest one to you at: huntfish.pa.gov/agentlocator/.

Officer Yeager is the third member of law enforcement to die in the line of duty this year. May she rest in peace and rise in glory. 🙏

Today, our department mourns the heartbreaking loss of Officer Kristen Yeager, who made the ultimate sacrifice while responding to a call for service on May 29, 2026.

Officer Yeager served our community with courage, compassion, and unwavering dedication. She answered the call to protect and serve each day, placing the safety of others above her own. Her commitment to her badge, her fellow officers, and the citizens she served will never be forgotten.

We ask that you keep Officer Yeager’s family, friends, and our entire law enforcement family in your thoughts and prayers during this incredibly difficult time.

Rest easy, Officer Yeager. Your watch has ended, but your legacy of service and sacrifice will live on forever. We got it from here.

🖤💙 End of Watch: May 29, 2026

This morning, I had the privilege of addressing attendees at the 2026 Aerium Summit, where I discussed the advancements in drone technology and its applications in the first responder community. I am proud to have been a part of this initiative from its inception four years ago.

There are a few road projects in our area that are just getting underway and will impact traffic well into next week:

♦ Lane closures and lengthy delays continue on Route 756/Bedford Street/Elton Road from Geistown Borough to Richland Township through Friday, June 5.

Drivers can expect lane closures with flaggers and delays up to 15 minutes.

♦ Waterlines on Route 756/Elton Road are being relocated near the intersection of Vo-Tech Drive and Industrial Park Road; gas lines are also being moved on Elton Road near the intersection of Theatre Drive; traffic signal work is being done on Theatre Drive at the intersection with Town Center Drive and College Park Plaza.

This portion of the two-year project is also targeted for completion on June 5.

Also to eventually be done is paving of Elton Road, the addition of left turning lanes, improved drainage, shoulder widening, the inclusion of bicycle-safe grates and the replacement of traffic signals and overhead signs.
