Heaven gained a good man this morning. At 12:45 this morning Asst. Chief (Ret.) Mack Newbury # 94 left this world and entered a new home. Mack was one of the finest and bravest men I knew and he was a mentor. It was an honor and a privilege to serve under him and I will be forever grateful for the life lessons he taught me. He gave so much to his community and his department. Chief, thank you for the memories!
