ated in Kansas City, Kansas, USA, serving students in grades 9-12. The school currently operates in the Kansas City Kansas Unified School District. The principal is Jean Carter and the assistant principals are Michael Boyda, William Fernandez, Edward Franco, and Lazell Williams. The school mascot is the Hawk and the school colors are purple and white. The current enrollment of the school is around 1,300 students. Harmon High School is a member of the Kansas State High School Activities Association and offers a variety of sports programs. Athletic teams compete in the 6A-5A division and are known as the "Hawks". Extracurricular activities are also offered in the form of performing arts, school publications, and clubs.

Outstanding Opportunity for Black Male High School Seniors Interested in Medicine or Dentistry

Tennessee State University and Meharry Medical College offer an accelerated 7-year MD/DDS pathway program with the potential for a full-ride scholarship. Remarkably, the program currently has no Black male applicants, creating a unique opportunity for qualified students.

Earlier this month, J.C. Harmon High School celebrated the opening of the Harmon Boutique, a student-led initiative created to support classmates in need with free clothing, hygiene products, shoes, and other essentials.
