The City of Kaufman Water Department is replacing a water line that requires a temporary interruption of water service near E. 4th & E. 5th Streets.

🚧 Affected Area: E. 4th & E. 5th Streets
⏱️ Estimated Repair Time: Approximately 2-3 hours

Our Public Works crews are working as quickly and safely as possible to complete the repairs and restore service. We appreciate your patience and understanding while this necessary work is underway.

🚨 NOTICE: CONTROLLED BURN TODAY 🚨

If you see smoke near the Kaufman Sports Complex, there's no need for alarm.

Kaufman County will be conducting a controlled burn of a brush pile at the Alton Street Convenience Station.

🔥 What to Expect:
📍 Smoke may be visible in the area.
📍 Fire personnel will be monitoring the burn.
📍 This is a planned and controlled operation.

Please help us spread the word to prevent unnecessary concern and avoid reporting this planned burn as an emergency.
