Kennett Township’s 250 picnic is TODAY, August 29 from 10:00 am - 2:00 pm at Spar Hill Farm & Preserve.

We're excited about Saturday's Picnic in the Preserve: America 250 in Kennett Township!

-Educational tours of the ground floor of the Spar Hill Farmhouse by the Kennett Township Historical Commission
-Wool carding & spinning demonstrations by Kennett Heritage Center
-Stories of Freedom and Resistance presented by Kennett Underground Railroad Center
-Quill Writing & Flax Processing with Colonial Pennsylvania Farmstead
-Guided hikes around the preserve by the Kennett Township Trails & Sidewalks Committee & Brandywine Red Clay Alliance
-Interactive activities by Boy Scout Troop 24 Kennett Square

Kennett Amateur Theatrical Society auditions are open to ages six and up.

The excitement is building as we get closer to the beginning of our 2026-2027 KATS season! All are welcome to audition, ages six and up. Don't fret, everyone gets a part! Join us for another exciting year as we step into our 26th Pantomime.
Who are the baddies going to be? Who will the goodies be? Only the future knowns!
