WEATHER PERMITTING - The Health Department and all offices housed within the facility, will be closed on Thursday, May 28th and Friday, May 29th, 2026 due to the parking lot paving project with the new annex facility and the current facility. We will reopen at 8:00am on Monday, June 1st, 2026. Thank you for your patience as we upgrade our facilities to better serve this community.

✏️The 2026-2027 School Year will shortly be upon us!📚

‼️All Students entering 7th & 12th Grade are required to have updated vaccinations prior to the start of the school year.‼️

The Mineral County Health Department will be visiting both Keyser & Frankfort Middle/High Schools to help provide the opportunity for students to receive these vaccines.

The Requirements & Dates for each school are listed below. ⬇️

🚨7th Grade Requirements: TDAP & Meningitis
▪️Additional Recommendation of HPV
🦅Frankfort Middle School - Thursday, March 26th
🌪️Keyser Middle School - Monday, April 20th

🚨12th Grade Requirements: Meningitis
▪️Additional Recommendation of Meningitis B
🦅Frankfort High School - Thursday, March 26th
🌪️Keyser High School - Monday, April 20th

📝 Consent Forms Will Be Sent Home With Students. However, If You Do Not Receive A Form, Please Contact Your Child’s School or The Health Department at (304) 788-1321.
