Reflecting on this past EMS week, I’m so blessed and truly privileged to work alongside some of the most dedicated and selfless providers.

For starters, we want to congratulate Justin Hogue, our newest National Registry Paramedic, and our first certified graduate of the Response 1 preceptor program. Justin put in countless hours of studying, on site clinical time, and sacrifice for this accomplishment. We are so proud of his achievement and look forward to his future success as a provider!

Mineral County EMS might be a small agency, but we have big dreams. This group of team members show up every single day to turn these dreams into a reality. They give of themselves for others without any ask in return. The drive to always better themselves and provide the most excellent care to our community is unmatched. The goals of Mineral County EMS extend beyond answering the call. Education is vitally important to growth and each of our providers has put forth efforts to become certified instructors in some facet of pre-hospital medicine. They volunteer their time to teach classes within the local community and participate in community outreach events. We have been privileged with the most technologically advanced vehicle and equipment for rural medicine in our area and state - this is not taken for granted but viewed as a point of pride among the agency members. We will keep pushing the envelope to be the best because our community deserves the best.
I know that as we continue to reach new heights, I can count on every single member of this team to rise to the occasion, fall back on their training, use their experience, and keep pushing forward.

Thank you - Jordy, Josh, Christina, Herk, Craig and Lauren. I cannot express my gratitude to you all enough. This is more than just a team, it’s a family. You deserve all of the recognition and respect. Keep being excellent. Please enjoy some photos over the last year 💙
