🚨 Community Notice 🚨
The Keyser Police Department is proud to announce that we will be partnering with the Mineral County Sheriff’s Office to host the 2026 West Virginia Police Canine Association Seminar right here in Mineral County for the first time ever!

Throughout the week, police K9 officers and their K9 partners from across the state will be in our area participating in this specialized training event.

You may notice an increased presence of police vehicles and officers during this time — please do not be alarmed.

Training will take place at multiple locations throughout the county.
You may continue your normal daily activities. However, it is extremely important that all dogs remain on a leash while you are out.

We are excited to host this training and appreciate the community’s support as we welcome these dedicated officers and their K9 partners to Mineral County! 🐾
