Weekly Wednesday Client/Caregiver Story:
I remember speaking to the client when doing a re-evaluation. His wife told me that he never talks and is always cranky. But she expressed that when Arlene, the caregiver, comes into the home, she almost always hears them laughing and cracking jokes with each other. She is glad that someone who comes into the home can make her husband's life better, even though it is just for a few hours.

Weekly Wednesday Client/Caregiver Story:
Recently, one of our dedicated caregiver's went above and beyond to help client, Diane. Diane was facing her annual appartment inspection. Due to the health challenges, Diane had fallen behind on her homemaking needs and was worried that she might lose her housing priviliges if her home wasn't ready in time. Understanding how important this inspection was, Sheila did not hesitate to step in. With compassionand commitment, she rolled up her sleeves to clean, organize, and prepare the apartment for the inspection.

Because of Sheila's dedication, and the support of SCHAS Homemaking services, the inspection went smoothly and the client successfully kept her apartment privileges.
