Thank you, Carteret, for showing us the wonders of cob construction!

Carteret Banks is fascinated with natural building as art. Cob is an ancient building material, much like concrete, made from clay, sand, straw, and water.

We had a great afternoon at Printshop B**r Co. sharing sculpture, art, and the creative process with our community. Thank you to everyone who came out to meet the artists and watch the demonstrations!

Stay tuned—our next artist demonstration is coming soon.

SoKno Sculpt is a nonprofit, community-driven public art organization dedicated to expanding public art through sculpture in Knoxville.
