Introducing a fun new program this Saturday at Veterans Memorial Campground! The Wisconsin Kiters will be on-site demonstrating kite flying, teaching proper kite etiquette, and helping kids build their own kites. Join us at 1:00 PM between the ball fields by the park maintenance shop, everyone is welcome!

Progress continues on the new cell at the La Crosse County Landfill, which will hold about 700,000 cubic yards of waste. The project costs just over $3 million and is expected to be finished in October. Once this cell opens, another cell at the site will close after reaching capacity and will be converted to green space.
