Today marks Cindy Ansell’s last day with the Lake Worth Beach City Library after 14 years of dedicated service.📚❤️

For Cindy, the City Library has always been more than a workplace; it has been a lifelong part of her story. From visiting the library as a child to serving as its Children Librarian, then as Library Manager, Cindy has dedicated her career to making the library a welcoming place where everyone can learn and connect.

Over the years, Cindy brought the library into the community through innovative programs, strengthened connections with local schools and community organizations, and created opportunities for families to discover the joy of reading. Cindy leaves behind a remarkable legacy of literacy, community, and service.

Thank you, Cindy, for 14 years of making our library and our community a better place. We wish you a wonderful and well-deserved retirement! 💙📖

The community is invited to join us in celebrating Cindy at her retirement open house on Tuesday, September 1st, from 12pm to 4pm at the library program room. We hope you’ll stop by to wish her well and celebrate all she has given to our community.

Need school supplies for the upcoming 2026-27 school year? The Back to School Bash has you covered! Enjoy tasty food, great music, and grab your free backpack and supplies while they last.
