The Lamesa Police Department is proud to congratulate and officially welcome Trinity Batchelor to her new role as a Police Officer!

Officer Batchelor is certainly not new to the Lamesa Police Department. She previously served our community as a Telecommunicator, working behind the scenes to support our officers and assist the citizens of Lamesa when they needed help.

After successfully completing the police academy, Trinity is trading the headset for a badge and beginning the next chapter of her career in law enforcement.

Her experience in communications gives her a unique perspective as she transitions into her new role, already understanding the importance of teamwork, communication, and service to our community.

Please join us in congratulating Officer Trinity Batchelor on this accomplishment and welcoming her to the patrol side of the Lamesa Police Department!

The Lamesa Police Department is proud to host FEMA ICS-300 & ICS-400 training October 19–23, 2026. These courses are designed for personnel with incident management responsibilities looking to expand their command and coordination capabilities.

Please be advised of a new city ordinance for the City of Lamesa. Effective immediately, citizens will no longer be allowed to park on the West Side of Skyline Drive between South 6th St and South 8th St. It is the city’s hope this makes operations safer for Lamesa ISD students, staff, and parents. Additionally, we hope this will make visibility and travel in that area safer on a regular basis. We would like to start with educating citizens before we begin to enforce the new ordinance with no warning. After a brief period of public education, the Lamesa Police Department will actively begin enforcing the ordinance.
