On Friday, we will be closed to honor Juneteenth—a day that honors freedom, resilience, and the ongoing journey toward equity.
In early childhood education, Juneteenth reminds us of the importance of creating learning environments where every child feels seen, valued, and respected. By sharing diverse stories and celebrating different cultures, we help children build empathy, understanding, and appreciation for one another from an early age.
As we commemorate this day, we recognize the significance of teaching our youngest learners about kindness, inclusion, and the many contributions of Black Americans throughout history and today.
Happy Juneteenth! ❤️💚🖤
