It’s almost time, Deerfield families and staff! The Best of Lawrence voting kicks off May 31–June 6, and you can vote once daily throughout the week. 🗳️✔️

Mrs. Moeckel’s leadership, compassion, and dedication are a huge part of what makes Deerfield so special. She consistently shows up for our students, staff, and families with heart, strength, and genuine care.

Deerfield is so lucky to have such an incredible principal in Mrs. Moeckel! Let’s rally behind her and show our appreciation for everything she does for Deerfield! 💙💚

Well folks, that’s a wrap on an amazing 2025–2026 school year! 💚💙

We started Deerfield strong and somehow ended even stronger. The culture, community, and heartbeat of Deerfield truly make this place special. 🫶🏻

Thank you to Deerfield parent and community partner BellaRoca Cakes for wrapping up the year with delicious cakesicles and helping raise $183 for Deerfield PTO! 🍰✨

And thank you to Burrito King for treating our teachers and staff to a last day of school meal made with love. 🌯❤️

It truly takes a village, and we are so grateful for our students, families, staff, and community partners who make Deerfield what it is.

Have a safe and joy-filled summer — we can’t wait to do it all again next year! ☀️🎉

BellaRoca Cakes will be joining us on the last day of school to help kick off summer in the sweetest way! 🍰☀️ Sales will be set up under the front entrance walkway.
