You might notice a familiar face in our office. We are excited to welcome Claire to our team once again. She is currently busy meeting community partners and OSU Extension, Family and Consumer Sciences counterparts across the state. She is excited to dive into her new role and we are grateful she chose us to launch her The Ohio State University career.

Claire earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Agricultural Communication with a minor in Youth Development from The Ohio State University in 2026. During her time at Ohio State, she completed two summer internships with the Warren County Extension Office and served as the Communication and Recruitment Intern for the Department of Agricultural Communication, Education, and Leadership within the College of Food, Agricultural, and Environmental Sciences (CFAES).

Originally from Greene County, Claire is passionate about developing educational and impactful communication that strengthens individuals, families, and communities. Her background in outreach, youth development, and public engagement reflects her commitment to lifelong learning initiatives and meaningful community connection.

A big shout out to Bass Pro Shops and our Friends of Warren County Park District for their help and support in preparing for our Cops and Bobbers Fishing Day coming up on 6/13 at Armco Park.

The Friends were awarded a grant that allowed them to purchase fishing poles to have on hand for kids who don’t bring their own. With a very generous discount on top of the grant, and our own personal shopping assistant (yay, Jeff!) they managed to get 33 poles plus three tackle boxes and supplies to help re-string poles for anyone who needs help!

Want to join us on 6/13? It’s FREE! Please register ahead of time so we can make sure to have lunch ready for you! www.WarrenCountyParks.com/events
