Happy Independence Day from Lebanon Rural Fire Protection District!
As you celebrate with family and friends this Fourth of July, please keep safety your top priority.
Fireworks Safety Tips:
• Keep a bucket of water or a garden hose nearby.
• Never allow young children to handle fireworks.
• Light only one firework at a time and move away quickly.
• Never relight a firework that doesn’t ignite.
• Use fireworks only in open areas, away from homes, vehicles, dry grass, and other combustible materials.
• Soak all used fireworks in water before placing them in the trash.
If you’re enjoying a grill or fire pit, never leave it unattended and make sure all flames are completely extinguished before leaving the area.
If an emergency occurs, call 911 immediately.
From all of us at Lebanon Rural Fire Protection District, we wish you and your family a safe, fun, and memorable Independence Day. Thank you to all of our firefighters, first responders, dispatchers, and healthcare workers who are serving our community today.
Have a safe and Happy 4th of July!
