Taking Our Response to New Heights

Lebanon Rural Fire Protection District is excited to announce the addition of a new drone to our emergency response toolbox.

This technology will enhance our ability to serve the community by providing aerial views during emergency incidents, assisting with search operations, monitoring wildland fires, assessing storm damage, supporting training exercises, and improving scene safety for both responders and the public.

Equipped with infrared (thermal imaging) capabilities, the drone can help locate missing persons, identify hidden hotspots during fire operations, assess heat signatures, and provide critical information during both day and night operations.

The drone allows us to gather valuable information quickly, helping incident commanders make informed decisions while reducing risks to personnel operating in hazardous environments.

As technology continues to evolve, we remain committed to investing in tools that improve service, safety, and efficiency for the citizens of our district.

We look forward to putting this valuable resource to work for our community.

Do you know which fire department protects your area?

Before paying dues to any fire department, take a moment to check your tax receipt and verify how your fire protection is funded. In our county, some fire departments are supported through property taxes, while others operate on membership dues.

Knowing who serves your area and how they are funded helps ensure your support goes to the correct department that responds when you call for help.

FLASH FLOODING POTENTIAL

Heavy rainfall is possible across the area and could lead to flash flooding in low-lying areas, roadways, and locations with poor drainage. Please use caution if traveling during periods of heavy rain.

Turn Around, Don’t Drown
• Never drive through flooded roadways
• Slow down during heavy rain
• Watch for rapidly rising water in creeks and ditches
• Have multiple ways to receive weather alerts

Our crews are prepared and monitoring conditions. If you encounter an emergency, call 911.

Stay weather aware and stay safe.

We would like to extend a sincere thank you to Independent Stave Company in Lebanon for their generous donation toward the purchase of 64 sticks of new attack line hose.
