One thing you can always count on when it comes to Degan teachers and staff, is that we know how to have fun at school.

The countdown is officially on, and we will see all of our students less than one week! This week, we are collaborating as educators to prepare for an amazing upcoming school year.

To our families, we cannot wait to welcome your students through the door next Wednesday, August 12th. Get ready to start your engines and get your students to school before 7:40 AM!

Degan Families!! We officially have 7 days before we Start Our Engines and get ready to race into a new school year!! Yesterday, we reminded you to start your bedtime routines. Today we encourage you to read for 20 minutes with your scholar! Check out this flyer for more tips on preparing for a great year! We are so excited to welcome you all on AUGUST 12, 2026.
Remember that the new start time for school is 7:40 A.M. Students can still be dropped off at school as early as 7:15 a.m.
Let's get ready to roll into a great school year!!!

📍 Class Lists: Posted on the front doors prior to the event!
💡 Pro-Tip: Don’t forget to bring your student’s school supplies to drop off in the classroom so they don’t have to carry them on the first day!

The OGs meet the newbies on the teachers FIRST DAY BACK! Today we welcomed staff new and returning, to the 26-27 school year. It was only right to start off with a new trending video, to get our new staff accustomed to how we do it at Degan!
