City of Lighthouse Point Library This is the Official Lighthouse Point Library City page. Proof of Lighthouse Point residency or a current business tax license is required.

In 1965, the Lighthouse Point Library started in a tiny rented storefront with an all-volunteer staff and just 500 books. Today, thanks to community support, we boast a beautiful 8,000 square foot facility with 40,000+ print materials, eBooks, audiobooks, eResources, patron computers, patron WiFi, children’s educational stations, and award winning programming for all ages. As a City funded library

, Lighthouse Point Library cards are free of charge for all City of Lighthouse Point residents, business owners, and their children. Individuals who do not reside in the City of Lighthouse Point (non-residents) are welcome to join the library for a membership fee of $50.00 per family (living at the same address), per year.
