The members of the Lincoln Fire Department extend our deepest condolences to the family, friends, and brothers and sisters of the Boston Fire Department following the tragic line of duty death of Firefighter Robert T. Kilduff.

A 3rd generation firefighter, Firefighter Kilduff made the ultimate sacrifice while serving his community at a 3-alarm fire in Dorchester last night. His dedication, courage, and commitment to the fire service will never be forgotten.

Today, we mourn alongside the Boston Fire Department and stand united with the entire firefighting community.

Please keep Firefighter Kilduff’s family, his fellow firefighters, and all those affected in your thoughts and prayers during this incredibly difficult time.

Rest easy, brother.

The members of the Lincoln Fire Department would like to extend our deepest condolences to the family, friends, and brothers and sisters of the firefighter lost in the tragic lumber yard fire in Searsmont, Maine. We also keep the injured firefighters and their families in our thoughts as they recover.

No matter the distance between departments, the fire service is one family. Whether you are career, volunteer, or call firefighters, we all answer the same call, face the same dangers, and make the same sacrifices for our communities. When one firefighter falls, we all feel that loss together.

The brotherhood and sisterhood of the fire service stretches far beyond town and state lines, binding us together through sacrifice, dedication, and service to others.

We stand with the firefighters and community of Searsmont during this incredibly difficult time. Please keep all those affected in your thoughts and prayers.

Rest easy, brother. We’ll take it from here.

National Home Fire Sprinkler Week is May 10-16, 2026!

According to Home Fire Sprinkler Coalition:
- Home fire sprinklers only spray when the temperature in the room rises quickly.
- The sprinkler above the fire is the only one that sprays.
- Fire sprinklers and smoke alarms reduce the risk of dying in a fire by 82%.

The Lincoln Fire Department would like to extend a huge thank you to everyone who came out to our Open House! It was great to see so many members of the community stop by, tour the station, meet our firefighters, and spend time with us. Events like this are a great reminder of the strong support we have from our town and visitors alike.

We hope to continue making the Open House a tradition whether annually or every other year and look forward to making the next one even bigger and better.

A special thank you also goes out to The Moon Bakery and Cafe for generously providing some of the delicious baked goods for the event. Your support helped make the day even more enjoyable for everyone who attended.

Thank you again to all who came out and supported your Lincoln Fire Department!
