Last week, our CEO, Alicia Payseno and COO, Michael Shay Stout, traveled to Washington, D.C., to attend the American Hotel & Lodging Association - AHLA's Hotels on the Hill event. Hospitality leaders from across the country gathered on Capitol Hill to meet with Members of Congress and advocate for issues affecting hotels, employees, guests, and the industry’s future.

From workforce and labor challenges to tax policy and tourism priorities, Hotels on the Hill offers an important opportunity for industry professionals to share real stories and impacts directly with lawmakers. We are proud to have Arkansas represented in these conversations and grateful for the opportunity to help elevate the voice of hospitality where it matters most.

This past week at AHA, we sent our Director of Marketing & Communications, Dylan Kinkade, and our Director of Education, Renee Smith, to beautiful Eureka Springs to present one of our newest trainings.

Eureka Springs, Arkansas is truly one of Arkansas’s most unique destinations. A city seemingly untouched by time, filled with charm, history, and some of the most welcoming people in our state.

We had a wonderful stay at the 1886 Crescent Hotel & Spa and are incredibly grateful to the entire Eureka community for the hospitality and support throughout the week.

Thank you for welcoming us. We’re excited to continue bringing educational opportunities and industry training to communities across Arkansas.
