We loved our P-22 art from David Montgomery that won last year’s art contest and we’ve especially loved watching our tiniest neighbors color them in! So we’re making a COLORING BOOK! Twelve pieces of art will be selected for our LFNC Coloring Book. You must sign up for the contest at bit.ly/LFNCcoloringbook and send your entry by August 23rd.

Your drawing must be:
- All original artwork/design by the person submitting (no usage of AI)
- Black and white and suitable for coloring in
- fit on a 8.5 x 5.5 coloring page
- No use of licensed imagery or IP belonging to another entity
- No depiction of businesses (we love our Los Feliz businesses, but we cannot show love to some and not all!)
- No alcohol, weapons, profanity, or other illegal items (this is for children!)
- Final chosen designs will need to deliver working files and hi-res imagery and will be fully owned by the LFNC for all usage
- Chosen designs will not receive any monetary winnings but should provide a name and relevant social media handles to be highlighted

SELECTION PROCESS
- All designs must be submitted by email to [email protected] by 11:59 July 21st, 2026
- The LFNC Outreach committee will choose the final designs for the coloring book, considering the social media reaction to posted designs.
- Final winners will be notified via email by July 28th.
- Winning designs will be featured in a coloring book printed in August 2026, artists will be contacted to receive a copy.

On behalf of Assemblymember Jessica Caloza and California’s 52nd Assembly District, we invite you and your stakeholders to join us for an upcoming Zone Zero Workshop, a critical public education forum focused on wildfire safety and the development and implementation of proposed Zone Zero regulations.

Event Details:
Date: Friday, May 15, 2026
Time: 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM
Location: LA River Center & Gardens
570 W Avenue 26, Los Angeles, CA

This workshop will provide important updates directly from CAL FIRE and the Board of Forestry on the progress of proposed Zone Zero regulations.

Assemblymember Caloza is committed to elevating the voices of our communities and ensuring your concerns are reflected in state-level decision-making. Your input is critical to shaping how these policies are implemented locally, and this workshop is an opportunity to share your perspective and inform ongoing discussions.

We encourage attendees to submit questions in advance by Friday May 8, and there will also be a designated portion of the program for public comment during the workshop. Light refreshments will be provided.

RSVP is required. To RSVP, please visit: bit.ly/ad52zonezero

For questions, please contact the Assemblymember’s District Office at (213) 483-5252.
